Energy Skills manages various internships on behalf of Energy companies based in Taranaki, NZ. The roles range from Engineering, Environmental Management, Science and business services.

All technical and science roles are based in New Plymouth, Taranaki with some of the business service roles being based in Wellington.

Energy Skills clients are significantly investing in sustainability initiatives with a positive impact on the environment and the community.

As an Energy Skills Intern you will be involved in various projects working in a team environment. You will have the chance to take ownership of your project and will be given the opportunity to provide feedback into the wider team.

You will have the opportunity to discover what skills and attributes will be required to work within the New Zealand energy industry as well as:

- Put into practice theories and concepts
- Gain exposure to working in a team environment
- learning communication techniques, prioritising and organising tasks, problem solving and analytical thinking
- Gain exposure to the workings of international energy company
- Build valuable networks and contacts for future career opportunities
